Adapter socket
Noun
A connector for joining parts or devices having different sizes, designs, etc., enabling them to be fitted or to work together.
Example: In a lot of countries, you could find some adapter sockets for using electricity without problems.

Noun
Wealth in the form of money or other assets owned by a person or organization or available for a purpose such as starting a company or investing.
Example: Rates of return on invested capital were high.

Noun
A sum, typically a set percentage of the value involved, paid to an agent in a commercial transaction.
Example: Foreign banks may charge a commission.

Noun
A person sent or authorized to represent others, in particular an elected representative sent to a conference.

A sum of money paid regularly (typically annually) by a company to its shareholders out of its profits (or reserves).
Example: All the investors have a percentage of the total divindends of the company.

Verb

Noun
The value of the shares issued by a company.
Example: The equity of the investors is the same for all of them. It means, they have the same percentage of the social capital.

Financial Forecasts
Noun
The process of estimating or predicting how a business will perform in the future.
Example: We have calculated the financial forecasts of the company and it seems that we will have losses.

Noun
A person or organization that puts money into financial schemes, property, etc. with the expectation of achieving a profit.
Example: Foreign investors in the British commercial property sector.
